Shariah Board Members

Sheikh Dr Ahmed Imaam is well scholar in the field of sharia based at Mogadishu city, he is a PHD holder in Sharia he specialized in the Tafsir And His science, he Got his degree from the University Of Ummul Qura in Makkah al Mukarammah in 2004, he also obtained a Bachelor and master degree from the same university in 1991 and 1997, he worked as a Professor in Fiqi from the faculty of sharia in Ummul Qura University, he obtained two awards in memorizing the holly quran from the same university. Dr Sheikh Ahmed Imaam has joined dahabshil Bank as a Chairman of sharia Board in January 2014.

Sheikh Faysal Ali Farah is well scholar in the field of sharia based at Buroa city, he holds a Bachelular degree in Sciences of the Qur’an and Islamic Studies he specialized in the Tafsir And His science, he Got his degree from the University Of IMAM in Riyad Saudi Arabia in 1999 he worked as a Professor and Dean in Sharia from the faculty of sharia in University of Burao,
He started teaching Tafsiir Quran since 1983 till now.

Sheikh Faysal Ali Farah has joined dahabshil Bank as a vice Chairman of sharia Board in January 2014.

Sheikh Abdulqani Hussein is a PHD holder in Islamic Financial Engineering Controls and MBA in Modern Financial Operations (Fiqh – Islamic jurisprudence). He is an expert and qualified trainer, lecturer and consultant in Islamic financial transactions and Fiqh. Based at Hargeisa city.

Abdulqani has worked as Senior Sharia’a Compliance controller from 2007 to 2010 in the Dahabshiil Money Transfer. He is founder and remained Manager Director of Beder Center for Future Studies and Consultancy during 2008 to 2012. He has been the President of Beder international University for the session 2010-2013. Currently, he is serving as General Manager of Beder Institute for Research and Development (since 2012).

Member, Sheikh Mohamed Moalin Mohamed is well scholar in the field of sharia based at Bosaso city he is a PHD candidate, a Master holder in Sharia he specialized Fiqhi, he Got his degree from the Islamic University in Madiina 2000, he was a Dean of Faculty of Shariah in EAST AFRICA university he is also the founder of UmulQuran Schools which have many branches in Somalia.

He is currently a judge in Islamic Court in Bosaso, he wrote a view books, like Ikhtiyaarat for Imam Nawawi and Taqriib to Fiqhi rules.

Sheikh Mohamed Moalin Mohamed has joined dahabshil Bank as a Chairman of sharia Board in January 2014.
